The first game ended with the TexAnns defeating SWOSU 15 to 14. Transfer Kady Crow was able to score this game’s winning run in her first time to suit up in the purple and white.

The TexAnns were behind three runs by the time they were able to get a chance to bat, but they answered right back with three runs of their own by the end of the first.

A 9-3 lead for SWOSU came next during the top of the second, but the TexAnns came back with four runs in the third due to a 2-RBI single from Katelyn Conlee, an RBI double by Delaney Wayland, and an RBI single from Nyka Wood.

The score continued to go back and forth until the very end.

The TexAnns were able to get 18 hits with 4-4 for Conlee with four RBIs. Mikayla Stogsdill was able to go 3-4.

The ladies also managed to steal six bases during this game. Thomas took two, while Stogsdill, Conlee, Wayland, and Melody Mayse each had one.

The second game resulted in a score of 11-8, TexAnns.

Conlee was able to continue her batting success from the first game with a hit to send the ball over the left-center field wall for a 3-run home run at the bottom of the first. Mayse and Thomas were able to get home.

SWOSO was able to get the score in their favor at 4-3 before Erika Menchaca was able to score to tie up the game at 4 all.

The score continued to slowly climb until the final two runs were added in the fifth from an RBI single from Mayse and an RBI double from Conlee.
