“Big O’s” big flavor

“Big O’s Gyros” has been added to the list of places Tarleton students can walk to from campus to satisfy the need for food. The restaurant is located right next to Bostocks, and offers a selection of Greek inspired Gyros, salads, and rice bowls.

The menu is relatively small, but the flavor is anything but. The options for meat are chicken and lamb, and both are treated to a wonderful balance of spices that are complimented by the option of regular or spicy sauce. Everything is freshly cooked to order, the vegetable toppings offered are fresh and crisp, and the regular sized Gyro is equivalent to a six-inch sub.

The dessert options are bagged cookies, or “homemade goodies” which are freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.

The only downside to the whole experience is the price. For a six-inch gyro, a drink, and a brownie, the cost is right around $10.

This is more expensive than some of the other options near campus, but if students are willing to pay for the quality and flavor, “Big O’s Gyros” is definitely the place to go.
