PREM program hosts annual wedding expo

Rachel Crawford, Managing Editor

This Sunday, Tarleton State University’s Public Relations and Event Management program is putting on their annual Central Texas Wedding Expo from 1-5 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center.

The expo is sponsored by Legendary Weddings and Special Events, which is operated by the PREM program.

This year’s theme is “Country Chic,” which is the first year the expo has had a theme.

The expo will have a bridal fashion show; tips and tricks for budget weddings; contests, including a free wedding planned
by Legendary Weddings; and many vendors, including makeup, catering, photography and more.

“We are trying to help Stephenville and the surrounding area vendors advertise their services as well as give the students experience with executing an expo and working face- to-face with vendors,” Savannah Baxter, part of the Operations Team, said.

“We have also expanded our horizons with vendors; we even have Kendra Scott as a vendor this year.”

Tickets are $5 a person and $3 for children 12 years or younger.
