“King’s Countryball” coming to Twisted J Live

Singer Randall King is hosting a three-part free concert series here in Stephenville at Twisted J Live. The free concert series, “King’s Countryball,” starts on Thursday, Feb. 15 and then continues on March 22 and April 19. These concerts will begin at 7 p.m.

King describes his style as a modernized neo-traditional country. Growing up on George Strait, Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley. As for song writing he said that he listens to a wide range of music to help influence his style. But Randall King started his career out in Lubbock, TX at the Blue Light Bar. He started singing and songwriting with his buddies in this bar. Saying that they all pushed each other to become better singers to truly pursue his passion of music and make a career out of it. King said that he always knew that he wanted to be a singer.

Randall is very excited about his new self-titled album that is going to be released in the spring. It’s been two years since his EP Another Bullet a five track highlight. King says that he’s very excited to have new songs out. While producing this album in Nashville, King said that his producers gave him a lot of freedom with this album. “I’ve been able to produce this album by myself, and I’m excited that I have been able to create my own sound in this album.”

King is very grateful about the experiences he’s been able to have because of this music career. His favorite place that he has been able to go on tour to was a rodeo in France.
