Tarleton SGA’s elections result in a runoff
On April 22, 2021 the ballots were counted and the winners of the 2021 Student Government Association (SGA) election were almost decided. This election determined the winners of the 2021-2022 SGA President and Vice President, Mr. and Ms. TSU titles, the congresspersons and the representatives for each college.
The candidates for the President and Vice President were Ally Johnson and Myles Taylor, Walker Kirk and Alexandria Tullos and Noah Winters and Desirae Garcia. The voting for President and Vice President ended with a tie between Ally Johnson and Myles Taylor and Walker Kirk and Alexandria Tullos. The runoff elections began on April 23 at noon and ended on April 27 at 4 p.m. To find the winners of the runoff election you can visit the Tarleton SGA Instagram page.
The nominees for Mr. TSU were Joseph Seaman, Matthew Flores, Marco Salazar, Ivan Anaya and Sebastian Canales. The nominees for Ms. TSU were Kennedy Whitten, Lauren Gattis, Emily Kahler, Sadie Saxon and Joy Brewer. The winners of Mr. and Ms. TSU are Matthew Flores and Emily Kahler.
