As a college student at Tarleton State University, you may not want to eat at the dining hall or Chick-fil-a every day. Luckily, Stephenville has a variety of  other options  to curb your cravings. 

When asked which fast food place in Stephenville students preferred, out of a group of 46 students, 22 chose Whataburger. Whataburger is a great option as they have multiple drive through lines and fast service. Their menu is also inclusive of many different options from a typical hamburger to fish and chicken sandwiches. That is not all they have to offer! Breakfast is served from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., so no matter how early you like to start your day, they will be open and ready to serve you. 

The fast food runner up is Chicken Express. This is another option that has a variety of options, especially when it comes to sides. They have your typical chicken and fish combo meals that can be paired with fried pickles, mac and cheese, fried okra, and so much more. It’s no surprise that they are a fan favorite. While they are not open 24 hours like Whataburger, they are open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

If fast food is not your style or maybe you are wanting to sit down and have a meal with friends, The Purple Goat is the place to go. A fun atmosphere is provided with outdoor cornhole boards, fire pits, and great service. They serve breakfast (all day), lunch, and dinner and have a free local delivery service. The unique factors about this restaurant are explained all on their menu. From the appetizer of goat balls (brisket balls stuffed with hashbrowns and cheese) to the Mom’s Mac and Cheese (mac and cheese with corn and brisket), there is no shortage of amazing meal options. The Purple Goat is also pet friendly and includes a pet menu so you and your furry friend can eat a meal together.
