This family owned business has been in Stephenville, Texas for 20 years. Jason and Sherry Jacks have owned Not Too Shabby since 2019.

“Sherry has had a passion for fashion for as long as she can remember. She’s worked with major clothing designers and had clothing businesses for over 30 years.

Her husband’s work at Tarleton brought her close to many Tarleton student’s over the past 20 years, many appreciating her talents and thrift-driven advice for putting together professional ensembles for their first job or professional school interviews. Thrifting is truly in Sherry’s heart and soul,” A Not Too Shabby employee explained. 

All are welcome to this boutique full of name brand ladies, men’s, children’s clothing and shoes, purses, jewelry, home decor, and furniture. 

“It’s a funky little shop where you never know what you might find. You could easily come across a vintage Coach handbag or a gorgeous piece of native American turquoise jewelry or that special couch you’ve been searching for everywhere. Birkenstocks, Kendra, Dooney & Bourke, Neiman Marcus, North Face, George Strait…. You just never know what you might find and the prices, well, they are uniquely affordable,” the employee reported. 

Since they are a consignment boutique, they get all of their wonderful selections through consignors. 

Not Too Shabby makes sure to hold sales as often as they can to keep their customers coming. 

“We also have Live Facebook Sales 3 times every week, and seasonal and special occasion event sales,” the employee said.
