All my homies hate Ticketmaster

Zach Bryan announces tour

If you are a fan of all things country music, Zach Bryan is no stranger to the scene. Over the past two years Zach Bryan has grown in popularity. Given his increase in popularity, fans have been looking to buy tickets. Recently, ticket portals like Ticketmaster have been raising the price of tickets tremendously.

Zach Bryan recently announced his tour, the “Burn, Burn, Burn tour on Jan. 19, with the help of comedian, Theo Van. The new tour features 28 shows, excluding festivals and rodeos. The tour will take place May-August, visiting various locations around the country.

Given the struggle fans had with purchasing tickets, Bryan and his team developed a tactic to prevent scalping and transferring tickets. Fans were able to register through a link, giving them potential early access to be one of the first people to purchase tickets for the “Burn, Burn, Burn” tour. Early access closed Jan. 29, with the first set of purchasers being notified Feb. 13. Tickets were sold through AXS to prevent issues fans experienced through Ticketmaster.

On Dec. 25, Zach Bryan released an album titled “All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster.” This album features 24 songs, all recorded live from Red Rocks. The Red Rocks recording took place on a frigid, snowy November night at Colorado’s Red Rocks amphitheater. Bryan named his album on a play of words given how fans felt about purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster.

Bryan took to social media on Feb. 15 delivering a statement. He addressed his gratitude for fans and their ability to sell out the tour in a matter of seconds. He also stated that not a single ticket was sold for more than $156 including taxes and fees. Bryan and his team aimed to keep tickets cost effective and prevent scalpers from purchasing tickets.

While many are saddened to not have gotten their hands on long awaited tickets. It does not look like Zach Bryan is slowing down anytime soon.
