Grassburr along with SGA to hold Grassburr Fest in Heritage Park

Today, April 13, The Grassburr, in conjunction with the Tarleton State University Student Government Association, will be holding the Grassburr Fest in Heritage Park from 5-8 p.m., to add to the celebration of Founder’s Week. The winners of Mr. & Ms. TSU will be also be announced.

Held in Heritage Park, the Grassburr Fest will have live music from local artists: Davis Danziger, Jesse Rasanen and Thomas Napp, along with DJ James Segura from 100.7 FM The Planet.

The first 250 people will receive a free shirt, courtesy of the Grassburr. There will be free food, a Velcro Wall, Bungee Bull and a host of other sources of entertainment from various organizations on campus. There will also be giveaways such as a GoPro, custom Grassburr gear and more.

The Grassburr Fest is to help celebrate the 100th year of the Grassburr, whose first publication was in 1916.
