Today, February 24 at 5:15 p.m., Tarleton State University’s Office of Marketing and Communications will be presenting new Texan Rider logo design concepts at the Student Government Association’s House and Senate meeting to gather opinions from students about the new concepts presented as possible choices.

Prior to tonight’s meeting, Marketing and Communications presented these design concepts to the Athletic Department, Recreational Sports and Residential Living and Learning.

Tarleton has chosen a third party, Rickabaugh Graphics, a graphic design company based out of Gahanna, Ohio, as the designer of the upcoming new logo. Rickabaugh Graphics has designed logos for schools such as the The University of Iowa and the University of Texas-Permian Basin. A fiscal amount for the company’s services has not been available for release yet, but JTAC News was told that once a finite amount was agreed upon, then it will be available for public record.
