Parking resurfacing projects to cause temporary lot closures
July 22, 2014
STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Taking advantage of the summer break at Tarleton, contractors with Alpha Construction will undertake several parking lot repair projects ahead of the fall 2014 semester.
Weather permitting, all work should completed before the end of the first week of August. During the repairs the university’s Parking Office requests that all motorists and pedestrians avoid the closed parking lots, which will be clearly marked for the resurfacing and restriping projects.
Contractors will work in two phases on the parking lots identified as part of the project: P3, P4, P16, P17, P20E and P20W. The work includes the removal and haul-off of existing surface materials, the installation of asphalt and two applications of sealcoating, and restriping where needed.
