Step into a job in time for Spring

The Career Services Center at Tarleton State University is holding a spring job fair March 7 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center ballrooms.

The event is open to all students and alumni of Tarleton. Katrina Phillips, Program Specialist for Career Services said, “For upperclassmen, it is a wonderful opportunity to speak to potential employers about job openings and career opportunities.” Prospective employees should wear professional attire and bring a current resume as well as a willingness to network with future employers.

There will be over 30 different companies attending the job fair ranging from Barefoot Athletics, Army ROTC, Texas Farm, LLC and the Ranch Management Program from Texas Christian University.  Phillips also said, “The great thing about job fairs is that they are mutually beneficial to the job seekers and employers – the goal is that our students will have great networking opportunities and even find employment. The companies that attend benefit because they get the opportunity to hire our wonderful Tarleton students and alumni.”
