Myjtac.com now provides students up-to-date weather conditions, radars, and weekly forecast with the addition of the Weather tab. This tab is located at the top of the website next to the Arts and Entertainment menu and the Opinion menu.

AccuWeather was established in 1962 and provides local forecast for over 2 million locations worldwide. The greatest number of forecast meteorologists in one location is located at their headquarters in State College, Pa. AccuWeather spent several years designing its headquarters, using state-of-the-art design and equipment to provide the most reliable and accurate weather information.

Myjtac.com’s AccuWeather widget displays the current temperature, RealFeel, wind speeds and a link to hourly information and videos. A radar image of Texas is also available to keep track of storms and precipitation. In addition, a forecast of up to 15 days is accessible.

By clicking on the widget’s main title students can be directed to the main AccuWeather website where they can search weather in different cities across America.

AccuWeather first appeared on the Internet as a free site in 1996 and since then has had served over 5 billion page views.
