Hunewell, first-year residence hall, has been apart of Tarleton State University since 1961. This hall was in high need for some renovations, which took place between May and August of this year.

Renovations included better lighting the lobby and new carpet and furniture. Student rooms also received new furniture.

“We renovated the hallways a long way and the study rooms have been renovated,” Juana Moncada, Residential Housing Coordinator, said.

Students are loving the new renovations. As soon as you walk into the hall, the new amenities are apparent.

“Residents are loving it. I’m very pleased with how it turned out,” said Moncada. “This is their [students] home. I don’t know how I got so lucky.”
