Tarleton Catholic Campus Ministry to host group activities during homecoming

Tarleton State University’s Catholic Student Ministry has a busy schedule planned Homecoming week to meet new members and enjoy activities together.

“Our mission/goal is to provide a fun and safe atmosphere for students to lean about the Catholic faith through the fellowship of other Catholic students by providing activities and programs that lead to spiritual growth and personal development,” Mena said.

Junior Nicole Mena, Social Media Representative, released a full schedule for October.

Oct. 17: At 5:15 p.m., meet at the John Tarleton Statue and head to the Launching of the Ducks.

Oct. 18: At 6:15, head to the Band Stand to prepare for the Silver Bugle Hunt.

Oct. 19: At 7:00 p.m., meet at the John Tarleton Statue and head to the Yell Contest

Oct. 20: At 10:00 p.m., meet at the John Tarleton Statue and head to the Dining Hall for Midnight Breakfast

Oct. 21: At 5:45 p.m., meet in front of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church (1444 W. Washington Ave.) and carpool to the bonfire.

Oct. 22: At 9:30 a.m., meet in front of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church to watch the parade

The student Ministry meets on Wednesdays every month at 8 p.m. in the Newman Hall on the corner of W. Washington Avenue and Lillian Street, as well as every Sunday at 7 p.m. after Mass for evening dinner.
