SSMI to host Family Reading Night

Tarleton State University is hosting a Family Reading Night in the children’s area of the Dick Smith Library from 6-7 p.m. tonight.
Tarleton Assisting Parenting Students, along with Student Success and Multicultural Initiatives and the Child and Family Studies Program, is putting on this free event.
“The purpose of TAPS is to aid in the journey of academic success to nontraditional students with children by offering support and information,” Terry Dobson, member of TAPS, said.
Dr. Moumin Quazi is the featured reader at the family reading night. All students, faculty and staff and their children are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served at the event.
“We’re holding this event for the enjoyment of children and parents enjoying an evening together,” Dobson said.
