Hang on for a minute...we're trying to find some more stories you might like.

William Clark Green is coming to City Limits this Saturday, February 13th. Green sat down and gave JTAC News a preview interview before he came to town this weekend.

Green got his start in music when he was in the eighth grade. He learned to play the guitar and started playing shows and different gigs while in college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He loved writing songs and became very involved in his music while at school. Green played several of his early shows in Stephenville, saying that it was one of his favorite places to play. “Stephenville is a home away from home” Green said.

When asked where inspiration comes from, Green said that he finds inspiration everywhere. From his day to day life, to the people he is around, to even just a good idea that he comes up with. The best part of his job is the fact that he gets to perform on a stage every day. “Being able to perform a song you’re proud of is one of the best feelings in the world.” Green said. Green also commented that Larry Joe Taylor Music Festival is one of the best, most breathtaking experiences that he gets to experience yearly.

Green says loves to take over the stage when he opens his own show. “It’s a great feeling to be able to take the show into your own hands.” Green said. He also said that even though he is headlining his shows now, he stills opens every once in a while for different artists. We also asked Green how excited he was for this year’s Larry Joe Taylor Fest and he told us that he was very excited. “It’s basically an overwhelming party where we get to see a lot of great friends that we may only get to see once a year. We usually try and get there earlier than the day that we play just so we can see everyone again and catch up.” Green said. He says that he is most looking forward to seeing some of his great friends, including Josh Abott, Larry Joe Taylor, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers and many more.

William Clark Green will be playing at City Limits on Saturday, February 13th. Tickets are $10 online, and Green will go onstage about 10:30.
