The annual Central Texas Wedding Expo hosted by Legendary Weddings and Special Events will be this Sunday, Feb. 23 from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center ballrooms at Tarleton State University. Admission is $5.

The event was set for Nov. 24, 2013, however, it was canceled due to the weather.

The wedding expo is planned and coordinated by Legendary Weddings and Special Events.

This event will provide brides with a chance to talk to wedding vendors. There will also be a fashion show, door prizes, DIY tips and games for future brides and anyone else interested in the expo.

Drawings will be held for two free weddings in Stephenville, including a ceremony at the historic chapel on the Bosque River and a ceremony and reception at Venable Weddings.

“It’s a big event full of all different kinds of vendors form health to beauty to food,” said Jordan McCrory, a student in the PREM program. “This is a fun event with lots of prizes to give away, from gift cards to a free wedding.”

Legendary Weddings and Special Events was created by the Public Relations and Event Management program (PREM) at Tarleton. Legendary allows PREM students and interns a chance to gain real world experience by planning and working the events.
