The annual Tarleton Student Research Symposium will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Science Building. The primary focus of the symposium is on students who have conducted research and scholarly activity independent of a classroom project.

Dozens of undergraduate and graduate students will present posters and oral presentations at the symposium in an array of disciplines.

Topics are as diverse as the educational fields offered at Tarleton and range from the effects of weather on bats to the design of a planetary re-entry vehicle, from water quality studies to classroom perceptions and achievements.

For more information on the symposium, contact Dr. Russell Pfau, director of the Office of Student Research & Creative Activities, at 254-968-9761.
