After an impressive five-game winning streak to end their 2011 season, the Texan football squad has begun preparing for their 2012 season with the start of spring football practices.

The Texans have held practices since March 25 and will hold their “Purple and White” spring football game on April 20 at 7:30 p.m., free of charge.

The football players and coaches will be serving hamburgers for $5 per plate starting at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the game.

The game will take place at Memorial Stadium. Fans are encouraged to come out and preview the 2012 Texans as they prepare for the coming season.
