Sunset Hike

Go on a sunset hike in Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailways located 50 miles outside of Stephenville. If you want to do more than hike you can bike, cam, geocache, rock climb and even ride your own horses. They’re open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and it only costs $7 per person to get in.

Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity for you and your loved ones to head out and grab something sweet. Sweet Sammies in Fort Worth, Texas is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth. Whether you want ice cream or cookies they got it all. They’re open daily from 12 to 9 p.m.

Visit an Art Museum

Spend the evening with your loved one walking around and admiring art this Valentine’s Day. The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is open on Valentine’s Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is $16 a ticket. If you are looking to spend a little more money, there is also the Valentine’s Day Three-Course Prefix Dinner taking place on Feb. 14 beginning at 5 p.m. at Cade Modern which is at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Tickets cost $65 per person with a $30 upcharge to add a wine pairing with the dinner. You will need reservations for this dinner and can make reservations by calling 817-840-2157.

Recreate Your First Date

Take your significant other on a walk down memory lane to where you had your first date this Valentine’s Day.  Whether it be in the exact place that you had your first date or another place that is similar to the location of it, make it your own. Head Out of Town

Don’t want to stay in Stephenville for Valentine’s? Head 3 1/2 hours south to San Antonio, Texas and spend the evening walking around at the San Antonio River Walk. Every night starting on Feb. 9 – 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. there is the Parade of Lights. Watch the river carry beautifully lit floats down the river with your loved ones.

Valentines Haunted House

If you’re looking for an alternative way to spend your valentine’s day, then this is it! On Feb. 15 and 16, Moxley Manor Haunted House in Bedford, Texas is hosting their ninth annual Valentine’s Haunted House. Tickets are $25 or $40 for a fast pass. Get your tickets here.

Painting With A Twist

Take your partner or friend to Painting With A Twist in Weatherford or Granbury, Texas for a night of painting and fun. Painting With A Twist offers multiple different painting classes perfect for Valentine’s Day. Seats are $35 a person and are BYOB if you’re 21 and up.
